The Women of Sundance 2016 [PHOTOS]

After Saturday's awards and yesterday's final screenings, the book has now been closed on Sundance 2016. So what should we take away from this annual Utah cinematic retreat? One possible lasting impression: Women once again made some vital and lasting contributions to this year's slate. Whether it was in front of the camera or as a director, writer, producer, editor or documentary subject (like Laura Albert, pictured above, from "Author: The JT LeRoy Story"), Sundance 2016 brought a variety of women to the attention of the film world.
