Richard Gere's Good Year, From 'Time Out of Mind' to Karlovy Vary

From Toronto to New York and Rome last Fall, critics and audiences embraced Oren Moverman's cinema verite drama "Time Out of Mind," starring an Oscar-worthy Richard Gere as an alcoholic drifter aging and surviving on the streets of New York. Now, the 50th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will honor the distinguished American actor with its highest award, the Crystal Globe for Outstanding Contribution to World Cinema.
