Cannes '15: SCAD Alumni Premiere Oscar de la Renta Exhibition Film at Cannes

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) has announced that the short documentary film, "Ovation for Oscar: An Exhibition at SCAD Museum of Art," created by SCAD alumni and students, is premiering at the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival. The film will screen on May 21, in Palais F, at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Oscar de La Renta was born on July 22, 1932 in the Dominican Republic. He was trained by Cristóbal Balenciaga and successfully led his own world renowned fashion house, as well as Balmain, from studios based in New York and Paris. He died on October 20, 2014.
