This Weekend In LA: Classic Cartoons at The Old Town Music Hall

Come join us for a celebration of great music from cartoons of the 1930s & 1940s. Betty Boop, Koko The Clown, Popeye, Oswald Rabbit, Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and others will entertain in a special program curated by noted animation historian me - Jerry Beck - who will introduce each cartoon. This program takes place at the world famous Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, California (near LAX) - which will be featured in a report on CBS Sunday Morning this week.  Each show is preceded by a prologue on the Mighty Wurlitzer, a massive 1925 wind-powered pipe organ that has been meticulously preserved.
