Best of NYFF: Critics Pick Their Favorite Films and Performances

In our annual poll surveying members of the Criticwire Network covering the New York Film Festival, Todd Haynes' film took top honors in five different categories, including Best Narrative Feature and Best Director. Five months after the film was a hit with critics at Cannes, where it was part of a handful of highly-lauded titles, "Carol" was this year's runaway festival favorite.
